The story behind the music
Music has been my language since I was a child. Growing up in the Midwest, listening to a wide variety of music. I started with drums in 5th grade. While progressing through high school and college, I listened to a wide range of music. Everything from classical to prog rock. I played in various garage bands though the years where I honed my love of music and the feelings it creates. I used music as an outlet for all of the struggles I went through as a teen and through college.
After college I took a hiatus from music while I focused on career and my family. All the while the love of the song remained below the surface and would bubble up from time to time. In my 40s music returned to the surface. I joined a band and started crafting songs out of my life and insights.
My sound is a blend of introspective lyrics combined with a straight forward production style. Each song is a story, a moment captured in melody and rhythm. I believe music should move you, challenge you, and stay with you long after the last note fades.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of performing at intimate venues, sharing stages with incredible artists, and connecting with fans who truly understand the power of authentic music.
